A Base Camp for Flying Enthusiasts
Owned by former Paragliding World Champion Klaudia Bulgakow, The Cloud Lodge was born from a love of free flight and a dream to create a base camp for people passionate about flying and other outdoor activities.
The facility
The spirit of The Cloud Lodge is to be a home away from home, where guests can just relax and be. Maximum capacity permits a comfortable stay for 12 people in four well appointed rooms. Our guests enjoy beautifully maintained modern amenities, with a friendly atmosphere. There is community room with a fridge and simple breakfast corner and a outdoor area with lounge and BBQ Perfect for wind down, chill and have a D-Brief after flying day. The setup is perfect for a small groups.
Rooms
All rooms can be booked as twin-bed rooms. Our community room is perfect for lectures, post flight debriefs and get-togethers in the house. Each of the rooms has its own private bath room.

Twin-bed room, with private bath room in the room and AC. Possible as separate two beds or double bed.
Room 2
Three bed room with large private bath room in the corridor, AC. Possible as separate two beds or double bed and spare bed.
Room 3
Four person room, with one bunk bed, AC and large bath room in the room. Possible as separate two beds or double bed and spare bed.
Room 4
Three bed room with large private bath room in the room, ventilator. Possible as separate two beds or double bed and spare bed.

Location
Cloud Lodge is located in the heart of Semonzo del Grappa – the premiere paragliding mecca of the Italian Venetian Alps. This valley is famous among paragliding pilots for having the first thermals and last thermals of the Alpine season. A place known for its unique microclimate that allows free flight all year around and also offers a wide range of other sport, natural and historical highlights. You can easily walk home from the main landing, to the grocery store, bakery, ATM, pharmacy and (of course most importantly) - the best Gelateria in the village, just across the street!

Paragliding
6 take offs allowing a wide range of wind directions, 2 official landings within easy glide of the takeoffs, cost effective and easy shuttle service and more thermic days than any other place in the Alps. (Visit the Consorzio Vivere il Grappa website for more details and to purchase your FlyCard.)
Hike and Fly
Discover a variety of easy, safe, and scenic trails that begin right at our doorstep. These well-marked routes take you through beautiful landscapes and lead directly to the main take-off points, making them ideal for all skill levels.
Road biking
The road biking is so famous that the Giro d’Italia has even concluded their world famous race here - as recently as summer of 2024.
Climbing & Via Ferrata
Explore numerous climbing spots and via ferrata routes, featuring fixed ropes and ladders combined with hiking. Guides and equipment are available through our partners.
What to see...
In September 2021 UNESCO announced Monte Grappa as one of 20 new biosphere reserves as part of their Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme. One of most important memorial object in all of Europe- The Military Memorial Monument - is located on the top of Monte Grappa. Build in a memory of those who lost their lives World War I and II. Many historical walk are possible on the mountain in this sacred area. Bassano del Grappa, Asolo and Cittadella are all very historic and beautiful towns worth a day trip visit when you are resting from all the outdoor activities.
About the owner...
After spending over 25 years traveling for competitions and staying in many hotels, hostels, lodges, she decided to make her big dream come true – creating a base camp for passionate paragliding pilots and other sports people. The choice of Semozno del Grappa was due to its unique microclimate, which allows flying almost all year around. Located just 1,5 hour drive to the Mediterranean sea and just over an hour to the nearest ski slopes made this location even more attractive.
